I started driving with Mark as i'd had several instructors and never seemed to make any progress, and my previous instructor to Mark was loud , my problem was i couldnt control a car :) and got shouted at a lot which made me nervous, Mark is calm under pressure even if i nearly smashed his car (which i nearly did several times) remained calm ! i was nervous with pedestrians crossing the roads, hated roundabouts and always mounted gutters, Mark helped me drive with an understanding of what i was doing and why, gave me lots of literature to help me pass my theory ,,, which i passed with only one question wrong ,,, even booked my theory and practical test for me, i passed within the year, and did my Pass Plus with Mark which helped lower insurance quotes and got me confident to drive on the motorway aswell as rural areas, much needed now in my work which enables me to travel up and down the UK, the roads of Britain are safe with this guys help,, i have never had an accident happys days !!!! xxxx

I would like to pass on some comments regarding my instructor Mark Southall. I have been learning to drive on and off for the past few years with several companies/instructors never getting as far as booking my test. After only a few months with Mark, I passed my test.
When I failed my mock test, we then practiced the weak points. Nearer the test Mark re-assured me and I could reach him on his mobile if I had any questions. He is always eager to help and I felt very comfortable with him. Best instructor I ever had.

Mark was a great instuctor and I would recommend him to anyone who's looking to become a good and safe driver. I am glad I went with Mark as he was friendly and put in as much time and effort as I needed. He uses the whole hour sometimes longer so you know you are getting the most out of your money plus he is also really helpful e.g. gives you sheets and stuff to help you pass first time :) Thank you Mark :) been driving for a while now and so far so good :D.

I'm absolutely delighted with the instruction I received from Mark’s Driving School. I passed yesterday, first time! Mark's instruction was encouraging, helpful and patient. He gave me so much confidence to be a positive, safe driver and now I love driving! He provided notes to study between lessons and explained all manoeuvres and techniques perfectly so I felt very capable and thoroughly prepared to take my test. Mark as a driving instructor is very friendly, patient, considerate and understanding. Mark knows different people need different teaching techniques. I went through them all. Mark helped in many ways, mainly the most important was my confidence as a driver. As my confidence grew all the manoeuvres and driving techniques fell into place and made sense. Mark made driving a clear process. Driving is hard and difficult, however the steps were made easy to follow. When I did not understand anything Mark would go over it step by step until I did understand and put it into practice, only then, would we move on. Passing my test was hard and nerve racking, and because I was taught well It did not bother me at all when I drove on my own and overcome any senario. I want to thank Mark, I would not have done it without him."
